6. things to do before an event

1. Be sure to diarise the time and the link at least 10 minutes before the event starts .

The facilitators are usually on early and often you get a chance to connect before.

2. Create a LinkedIn , Facebook and Insta Post

and add your it during the event - via comments - hashtag the name of the event #referronlive

3. See who else is coming from the “Referron live group Rolodex “ on Referron - 

Identify the people you want to meet with - add them to your Referron connections (from their profile on group - just press add connection ) and from Referron, open their card and send a note either on sms, WhatsApp or email - saying you’re looking forward to catching up !! 4. If you haven’t done so already - Be sure to download referron (at www.referron.com).

5. Comment on Socials

Commenting on other people’s blog is a super powerful way to increase your centre of influence with those you want to connect with . They are creating content so people can comment - (give them what they want and you will get what you want ;) 

6. Invite others that you know like and trust to the event.

your host and organisers will appreciate you big time if you help bring others in your network to the event. Treat the event as your own .

Stories Can Make You Referrable

Another pearler from that legend , Ivan Misner - the guru of referrals and networking :-

If people can’t remember you, they can’t refer you. 

One of the best ways to become more memorable is through storytelling. Instead of trying to explain everything you do, share one specific story about someone you helped and the difference you made. 

A good story creates connection. 

Connection creates recall.

And recall creates referrals.
